A Good Man is Hard to Find?

Many times I have heard the saying: A GOOD MAN IS HARD TO FIND. It was not until I stopped looking that God place a good man in my path. The bible says: he that findeth a wife findeth a good thing. Well being born and raised in the church I knew this but paid no heed. This was mostly because men came to ME. Each time I thought it was simple: this could be the one that God sent me. However had I paid attention to their character I would have known that my God would not send me garbage. Just like my natural father; if I left him to pick my spouse just like in the days of old he would NOT have brought me garbage. He would have brought me the cream of the crop and it would be nothing but the best for his baby girl. That being said, never accept a gift from the ENEMY instead of waiting for your Daddy God to bring you the best that he has. Waiting for the one that God has groomed, matured and cultivated can seem lonely but you are never alone cause God is grooming, maturing and cultivating you too!

To all my single friends: Don’t jump the gun and take a boy/man in place of the one that God has for you. Be patient and wait. God is preparing you both and a great gift is always worth the wait in the end.

  1. I just stumbled upon your post while scrolling through my facebook updates. It caught my eye and made me stop. Now I’m tearing up and I’m not sure why, maybe I need to hear it. Thank you.

    • I needed to say it. The difference between my first marriage and this one has been a true blessing and I wonder why I let so many of my years pass me by with Mr. Wrong. For years I have been in the same places as Greg and never knew it! Oh what a diffence waiting for God can be.
